We are a Southern Baptist Church that was founded in May of 1838.  Since the beginning of the ministry of Kirksville Baptist Church the mission and purpose has remained the same.  It is the desire of the Kirksville Baptist Church to reach our community and our world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  During the years, there have been many people who have given unselfishly and diligently of their hearts, lives and resources to help fulfill the Great Commission as revealed in Matthew 28:19-20-Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20-Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
